Proxies for price monitoring

Price monitoring means opening the same product pages at set times and recording any price that changed. ProxyWorld datacenter IPs are billed only by how many IPs you have. You can add more checks and the monthly bill stays the same.

Why datacenter IPs work well

Datacenter IPs come from server lines, so they respond fast and cost little. 5~99 IPs are $0.13 per IP a month, 100~499 are $0.11 and 500 or more are $0.09.

Checking one price takes a single page load or one API call. Repeat light requests like that all day and the bill still follows only the number of IPs.

How many IPs you need

Divide your daily checks by how many one IP should handle. 60,000 checks a day at 1,000 per IP comes to 60 IPs, which is $7.80 a month.

For a large catalog, Cluster (100 IPs) is $11.00 a month and Region (500 IPs) is $45.00 a month. Buying in 3, 6 or 12 month terms lowers the per IP rate by 3%, 6% or 10%.

Comparing prices by country

Datacenter IPs are available in 18 countries, and you pick the country when you buy. Connect from a French IP and the store shows the page it gives visitors in France.

Many stores change currency, tax and shipping by visitor location. Always opening from the same country lets you compare yesterday's price with today's on equal terms.

If a store blocks datacenter IPs

Move only that store to residential GB. It connects from home line IPs, and your GB go down only by the data you use. Product pages are small, so Trip (25 GB, $8.50) lasts a good while.

Residential GB have no expiry. Use them for the few strict stores and keep checking the rest of the list on datacenter IPs.

How to set up ProxyWorld for Price monitoring

  1. 1

Top up in crypto in the payment window. The amount builds up as your USD balance.

  2. 2

Under datacenter, pick Node, Cluster, Region or Global, or type a count between 5~5,000. Set the country and period (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) at the same time.

  3. 3

Add -zone-dc to your proxy username. Traffic leaves from IPs in the country you bought, so you see that country's prices.

  4. 4

Set your price checker to connect to gate.proxyworld.shop:6100 at its scheduled times and save the result every time.

Frequent questions

Is collecting public prices a problem?

Reading prices anyone can see is a common practice in many countries. Still, keep to the site's terms and hold the request rate low.

Can I connect with SOCKS5?

Yes. SOCKS5 uses port 6200, and HTTP and HTTPS use port 6100.

I want my server to connect without a password.

Add up to 10 server IPv4 addresses in the Allowed IPs menu of the dashboard. Registered servers connect without the proxy password.

Can I use it alongside residential?

Yes. Both products are bought from the same balance. Change -zone-dc to -zone-res in the username and traffic goes out on residential IPs.
