How does a residential proxy work?
Your requests travel through IPs that internet providers give to homes. The target site sees an ordinary visitor at home. That is why teams use it for data collection, checking search results by country and seeing how their online store looks from abroad.
Connect to gate.proxyworld.shop (6100 for HTTP and HTTPS, 6200 for SOCKS5) and add -zone-res to your username. Without a session ID, the IP changes with every request. You can choose from 60 countries, and many of them go down to the city.
Billing is what makes it different from the unlimited plan. Only the GB you actually move are deducted, and the traffic has no expiry date. Use up Journey 100 GB in one week, or spread it over a year.
Residential traffic prices
You pay per GB, and the rate drops as one purchase gets bigger. The tiers are 5~24 GB at $0.37, 25~99 GB at $0.34, 100~499 GB at $0.31, 500~1,999 GB at $0.28 and 2,000 GB or more at $0.25.
There are four plan cards: Trip 25 GB for $8.50, Journey 100 GB for $31.00, Voyage 500 GB for $140.00 and Expedition 2,000 GB for $500.00. If this is your first order, we suggest Journey. For any other amount, enter 5~5,000 GB in the dashboard. For example, $40 buys 129 GB. The cost comes out of your balance and the traffic is added to your account.
What comes with residential traffic
Traffic that doesn't expire
Unused GB never leave your account. Buy a large pack like Voyage or Expedition at the lower rate and draw on it when you need it.
A lower rate as you buy more
It starts at $0.37 per GB and steps down at 25, 100, 500 and 2,000 GB. The Expedition tier is $0.25.
60 countries, down to the city
Add -cc- for the country and -city- for the city in the username. Many countries let you pick a city.
Rotating IPs and sticky sessions
Without the -sid option, each request uses a different IP. Add -sid-<session id> and -ttl-<minutes> to hold one IP for up to 60 minutes.
Three ways to connect
One gateway address with two ports. Port 6100 is HTTP and HTTPS, port 6200 is SOCKS5.
No password with allowed IPs
Register up to 10 IPv4 addresses of your own servers and they connect without a password. Handy for cloud servers and scheduled jobs.
When paying by the GB makes sense
- Your usage swings from month to month and you want to pay only for what you use.
- Work arrives in bursts, like month-end reports or seasonal price checks.
- You want to try a new site lightly with 5 GB or 10 GB first.
- You want to buy Expedition 2,000 GB once at $0.25 per GB and use it over several months.
- Several tools on your team share one account's traffic.
When to look at another product
- Lots of traffic every dayAbove 11~14 GB a day, the unlimited plan is cheaper and easier to budget. It doesn't count GB and charges a set amount from $3.31 a day.
- Sites that open on server IPsIf the target doesn't block datacenter IPs, datacenter proxies start at $0.13 per IP per month, and $0.09 from 500 IPs. For request-heavy work that usually costs less than paying per GB.
Questions about Residential Proxies
Does purchased traffic expire?
No. It stays in your account until you use it all, and it doesn't shrink when a new month starts.
What does 100 GB cost?
The Journey plan (100 GB) is $31.00. It falls in the 100~499 GB tier, so it is priced at $0.31 per GB.
What is the smallest and largest amount I can buy?
From 5 GB to 5,000 GB per purchase. 5 GB costs $1.85 ($0.37 per GB), and 2,000 GB or more is $0.25 per GB.
Can I add more traffic later?
Yes. Buy again whenever you have balance, and it is added straight to the traffic you have left.
Where do I set the country and session?
Chain the options after your proxy username. Writing pwexample1-zone-res-cc-us-sid-k7-ttl-20 keeps one US IP for 20 minutes.
What can I pay with?
First top up your balance with crypto. We accept 8 coins, including USDT, USDC, Bitcoin and Ethereum. Each top-up can be $25 to $5,000. Neither the balance nor the traffic expires.
