How to connect to ProxyWorld
Residential, unlimited, static ISP and datacenter all come in through one gateway. Below we go through where to find your connection details and how to add options. If something does not connect, check the list near the bottom of the page.
Getting started
1
Sign up
Sign up with an email and password, or save the token shown on screen and use that. The email is only used to log in, and we send no mail. You can create up to 3 accounts from one IP address.
2
Add balance
Send crypto from the payment screen and it arrives as USD balance. The smallest top-up is $25. Your balance does not expire.
3
Buy a plan
Choose the product you want and pay with your balance. Until the network connection is done, the order shows as activating.
4
Add it to your tool
Move the host, port, proxy username and proxy password from the dashboard into the program you plan to use. To set a country or city, or to keep the same IP, add options after the username.
What does a connection need?
Four things: a host, a port, a username and a password. The host is gate.proxyworld.shop. The port is 6100 for HTTP and HTTPS and 6200 for SOCKS5. Your proxy username is 10 characters long and starts with pw, for example pwexample1. Each value can be copied with one click in the dashboard.
The proxy password is not the same as the password you use to log in to the site. You can get a new one in the dashboard whenever you need. If you do, update the password in every program that uses the proxy.
- Host
- gate.proxyworld.shop
- HTTP, HTTPS port
- 6100
- SOCKS5 port
- 6200
- IP hold session
- Up to 60 minutes
How do I add username options?
After the username, add a hyphen, the option name and its value, and keep going the same way for each extra option. Example: pwexample1-zone-res-cc-us-city-new_york-sid-job42a-ttl-30. Your proxy password stays the same whatever options you use.
| Option | What it sets |
|---|---|
| -zone- | Chooses the product. res is residential, unl is unlimited, isp is static ISP, dc is datacenter. |
| -cc- | Chooses the country your IP comes from. Use a lowercase two-letter country code, such as us or jp. |
| -city- | Chooses the city. Write it in lowercase and put an underscore where a space would go (new_york). Many countries let you pick a city. |
| -sid- | Session ID. Requests sent with the same ID use the same IP. Name it however you like with letters and numbers. |
| -ttl- | How long the session holds on to one IP. Set it in minutes, from 1 to 60. |
Put your username together and take the code
Pick options and the finished username and sample code for each language update right away.
Each request leaves from a different IP.
The username shown here is a sample. Find your own username and password in the dashboard.

pwexample1-zone-res-cc-uscurl -x http://gate.proxyworld.shop:6100 \ -U "pwexample1-zone-res-cc-us:your_password" \ https://ipinfo.io/json
Sample response
{ "ip": "203.0.113.134", "country": "US", "city": "New York" }Sample response when connected through an IP in United States, New York.
Should the IP change or stay the same?
Leave out -sid and the IP changes with each request. This is what happens when you add no options. It fits scraping and search rank checks, where each request stands on its own.
When several steps need to run on one IP, such as logging in and then opening pages inside the account, add -sid. Add -ttl too and that IP is kept for the time you set, up to 60 minutes.
Can I connect without the password?
Yes. Put up to 10 IPv4 addresses of your servers in the Allowed IPs list in the dashboard. Requests coming from those addresses skip the proxy password check.
How can I check that it works?
Open a terminal (the window where you type commands) and enter curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@gate.proxyworld.shop:6100 https://api.ipify.org with your own USERNAME and PASSWORD. The address that prints is the IP used for that request. Run it twice without -sid. If you see two different addresses, you are connected.
Where does it go in a browser or program?
In a browser, open the proxy settings or a proxy extension and enter the host, port, username and password. To use SOCKS5, switch the type to SOCKS5 and set the port to 6200.
Scrapers, HTTP libraries and automation tools usually take a single proxy URL such as http://username:password@gate.proxyworld.shop:6100. Put your options in the username part of that URL.

Not connecting? Look here first
407 Proxy Authentication Required
This means the username or password is wrong. Copy both again from the dashboard and look for typos in your options. If you got a new password, the old one saved in your program needs replacing too.
Connection refused or timed out
Make sure the host is set to gate.proxyworld.shop and the port is right: 6100 for HTTP and HTTPS, 6200 for SOCKS5. Also check that the protocol chosen in your program matches the port, and that no firewall is blocking outgoing connections.
The IP is from the wrong country
Check that -cc- is two lowercase letters and that spaces in city names are replaced with underscores. Static ISP and datacenter IPs are tied to the country you picked when you bought them.
The IP keeps changing
Put a session ID in -sid- and the number of minutes to keep it in -ttl- (60 at most). Every request that should leave from the same IP has to send the same sid.
My order is still activating
A new order shows as activating until its network connection is done. If it never activates, the order is canceled and everything you paid goes back to your balance.
Ready to try a connection?
Once you sign up, your proxy username and password are ready right away.
