What you miss checking from the office

Ad networks may choose the ad by the viewer's location and line type. The screen you see in an office in Seoul is no promise of what a customer in Dallas or Daegu sees.

How to set the city

Add -city- and the city name to the username. Write the city in lowercase and replace spaces with underscores. Paris is -cc-fr-city-paris and New York is -cc-us-city-new_york.

Choose a few cities in the campaign area and repeat the same check in each. Screenshots per city and the final landing address give your report its evidence.

What to record on a check

Keep the URL of the page that carried the ad, the creative actually shown, the redirects after the click and the final landing page. A redirect is an automatic move to another address. Then compare this record with the placement and link in your contract.

Finish each check within one -sid session. The same IP should be used from the moment the ad loads to the landing page. If the IP changes midway, a working path can look broken.

How much data does it use?

A few MB per check. Occasional, small use like this costs less on GB pricing than on a daily plan.

Can I check in the browser I normally use?

What if I run short of GB during a campaign?
